John Belk (aka John Jogurt), born in Belgrade, Serbia, internationally acclaimed “the party capital of the world”. His unique creative potential and technological curiosity led him to start experimenting with sound design at a very early age.

He started djing more then a decade ago, simultaneously exploring music production through various styles of contemporary electronic genres. His music often flirts with jazz and ethno elements, infused with punk, rave, minimal and classic house. A “crowd pleaser” with refined taste.

Since 2010, working on many music projects as well as on his own, John Belk has been releasing tracks for respected labels such as Bedrock, Get Physical, Knee Deep in Sound

In 2014. he gets worldwide attention with his remix for Hot Since 82’s “Like You”, which peaks at 70th place on Beatport’s Top100 list. Later on, his tune “Silver Surfer” was released on Knee Deep In Sound Miami Sampler, alongside artists such as Cuartero, Montel, Brian Cid and many more. It was re-released and became no.1 single on John Digweed’s vinyl compilation Bedrock Live South Beach 1.

As a part of “DJ Set With Alfa” by Alfa Romeo summer campaign, John Belk won the DJ competition at this event which earned him a trip to Ibiza for 2014 closedown of party season.

He was also one of the finalists of the Burn Residency 2014 Competition.

His DJ residency in Belgrade’s hot spot The Tube lead him to perform at numerous international festivals: EXIT Festival, Love Fest, MAD in Belgrade and many more, playing alongside Carl Cox, Oxia, Hot Since 82, Miguel Campbell, Sharam, Luigi Maddona, Valentino Kanzyani, Andre Crom, Marko Nastic, Regen, Dejan Milicevic, Lea Dobricic… He also plays at Magacin Depo, Basement, SKC, 20/44, Drugstore, Lovedistrict, Barutana, Anderground, Lasta, Tranzit, Mladost, Hot Mess and Stefan Braun as one of the residents of Sunday Beat. In 2007 he played in one the biggest clubs in Brazil, D-Edge in Sao Paulo.

An innovative and versatile producer, already a part of Knee Deep in Sound family as well as releasing on his own label Mad Mole Music, John Belk is the name you should look out for, both on stage and in the studio.
