It’s been a big 12 months for Young Franco. He’s just wrapped up a recent UK Summer Tour, played an at-capacity set at Splendour in the Grass and NYE at Lost Paradise, toured his wildly successful single ‘Don’t U Want Me’ with a sold out hometown show and done a B2B with Brit boys Bondax. Casual.
Known for his funky beats and wicked charms, the young gun from Brisbane has cemented himself as one of the most exciting up and coming artists coming out of Australia. Defying expectation and boundaries, his unique style of “Futurefunk” is making waves around the Australian dance music scene and beyond, earning approving nods from Annie Mac (BBC Radio 1), Rudimental, Bondax, Alison Wonderland and Anna Lunoe (Beats1).
At the tender age of 21 and recently appointed ‘Triple J Unearthed Spotlight Artist’, with the thumping offering, ‘Close 2 U ft. JOY’, Young Franco has already done his fair share of traveling. 2014 saw Franco tour with Alison Wonderland and Wave Racer on the sold out “Wonderland Warehouse Project”, his own headline tour around Australia, as well as touring the UK in May/June of this year.
Young Franco has an ever-increasing list of accolades under his belt, following the release of his latest single “Don’t U Want Me”, and a sold out hometown show, Young Franco has proven impossible to ignore. Meet Young Franco on our Chase The Beat tour.
