After picking you up from the airport we arrive at our first destination in the picturesque location of Palolem. Think coconut trees, golden sandy beaches and some of the best Goan cuisines the country has to offer. After settling into your accommodation, you’ll meet the rest of your Beats Travel crew for the next week. After having a dip in the Indian Ocean we head to what we believe to be the most beautiful sunset spot in all of Goa. In true Beats Travel style, we kick off with an exclusive party with Indian Beats Travel DJs.
Today we set off early in the morning to explore the tropical paradise surrounding Goa by boat. Our island hopping adventure takes in the beautiful landscapes and surrounding beaches of Goa. We might even get lucky and get to see some new friends as this area of Goa is well known for dolphins. Our Indian boat captains are on hand to find us the best locations to strap on some snorkel gear and check out the underwater marine life. In the evening, you’ll also have the option to join a sunset Yoga class to unwind.
After a healthy early morning breakfast, we set off to see a different side of Goa; The waterfalls of Dudhsagar is one of India’s tallest Waterfalls and is our first stop for the day. The aromas and flavours in Indian foods are famous all around the world and it’s also one of the world leaders in the production of spices. We take you to visit some local spice plantations and learn about the various spices grown.
Today we spend the day exploring what is known as ‘Old Goa’. Panjim, also known as ‘Panaji’ is the capital of Goa and is rich in Portuguese culture and heritage. From the spectacular white churches to the historic colonial buildings, Panjim provides a chance to experience a different side of Goa. The city has narrow cobbled streets, quaint arty bookshops, lined with villas and buildings dating back to the Portuguese colonial era, all set beside the Mandovi River. In the evening, we will head to the famous floating Casinos of Panjim and hope that lady luck is on our side.
Today we arrive at the hedonistic haven of Anjuna in North Goa. Anjuna is steeped in ‘Hippy’ history, notorious since the 1960’s. After settling into your accommodation, we will set off on our bike ride through the back streets of the city, through the stunning fields to Chapora Fort. This is a chance to gaze out into the Indian ocean and experience the unbelievable views. After dinner, we head to one of the most lavish nightclubs in Goa with the best music in town. For those of you who want to stay until sunrise, this three-story club provides the perfect view. Situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean, it’s an Instagram lovers heaven.
After your first big night out in Anjuna, you’ll have the day to explore, soak up the Indian sun and take in the beautiful surroundings. In the evening we head to the famous Arpora night market. The Arpora night market is where you can buy the most weird and wonderful items imaginable for your friends and family back home. From carved souvenirs, wacky clothes or even silvers and spices. After you’re all shopped out, we continue onto what is known as the ‘nightclub in the sky’. This multi-level clubs includes all music types from techno, commercial hits to Bollywood. You’re sure to be dancing until the early hours of the morning.
Today we head to our final destination north of Goa, Arambol. Arambol has developed over the years from an old traditional fisherman’s village to a popular destination in Goa. In peak season you’ll find that it’s packed full of backpackers and now recommended by many as the beach of choice. On arrival in Arambol you’ll get the chance to try your hand at traditional Goan cooking with a masterclass.Your last night on Goa Beats will be spent watching the sun go down on a unique floating club on the banks of the Chapora river. This is where we will have our final goodbye Beats Travel takeover party with resident DJs and special guests.
Time to say the sad goodbyes to your Beats Travel family! By this time we hope you’ve made long-lasting friendships and memories, and will continue on your Indian adventure having partied your heart out and thoroughly enjoyed this amazing country.
